Hampton park apartments are without a doubht overpriced for what you get. Why rent there when you can go down the street and get a one-bedroom that is in a better part of town for around 375 per month!!

The staff, especially the manager are very impersonal and borderline rude. My car was broken into-(window knocked out and car stereo stolen) in their parking area right by my apartment, while the so called security man slept in his truck while on duty. From my understanding this was not the first time. It seems that about every month I rode through the area, I saw busted windows from cars that were broken into.

It seems that they would beef up their security with all the extra money they are getting from their overpaying renters. Guess Not!!

Finally, around two months before my lease ran out, they began pressuring me to sign another one to avoid a giant inflation in my rent. Under pressure I signed it, but due to a pressing family matter, I had to move out. I was totally moved out two weeks prior to the termination of my first lease. The manager kept my deposit and is now pursuing me with a collection agency in hopes of getting near $1000 dollars from me (and they think this is a deal for me!)for leaving two weeks before my second lease even took effect. TRUST ME- DO NOT RENT AT HAMPTON PARK-YOU WILL BE SORRY YOU DID!!!! JUST GO DOWN THE STREET TO COLONIAL VILLAGE WHERE THE STAFF ARE FRIENDLIER AND THE RENT IS FAIR!!
