Do not be fooled by the first look with hard wood floors and wooden blind. If you take a closer look, you will find cracks in walls, dead fire ants on floors, and virtually no storage space.
I have bitten by fire ants on four seperate occasion in my unit. (once in my bedroom, once while taking a shower, twice in kitchen) I had to go to ER once due to bad reaction. I made several complaints after each fire ant atack. I even showed the property manager ant holes around my unit. (I am talking ant holes with size of car tires.) The property manager told me this is typical during summer and did absolutely nothing.

As the manager, I have tried everything in my power to please this resident. I have had pest control repeatedly out to treat not only the unit in question but the entire building and the immediate vicinity. I have personally accompanied pest control to the unit, as well as inspected it from top to bottom and found no ants. I have found traces of food in the areas where ants were reported, dirty dishes left in the sink, and open food containers in the kitchen area. This is Alabama- yes, there are ants here, but I have made every effort to promptly respond to the requests of this resident. To say I have done nothing is an outright lie. The only thing I haven't done is break the lease- I have no proof!
