I stayed at Azalea (in their fully furnished suites) for close to a year. The leasing office staff and management is cooperative, polite and friendly. Maintenance calls were usually taken care of promptly and the work done was satisfactory. I had to use the after hours emergency maintenance call once during my stay and it was attended to immediately. I appreciated that a lot! It's a quiet neighbourhood, but not necessarily a very friendly one. Easy access to the I-85, restaurants, stores and malls. Security is more or less decent- few law enforcement officers stay on and around the property. Nonetheless, does not feel too safe after dark- especially for walking outside.

I found roaches in the apartment I lived in, maintenance came in and sprayed the apartment for pest/roach control. They did mention the apartments are sprayed and cleaned before leasing it out to new tenants. After the maintenance visit, I did see much fewer roaches around, but am sure they are not completely gone (they were here much before us, and will be there much after we are gone :)).

The apartments are also an older construction, and you can expect to hear noisy and creaking foot boards, especially if you have people living above you.

Overall, I would recommend the place to others.
