coming upon my 4th year here, but have decided to move now. the break-in's, door kick-in's, etc. seem to be happening very frequently (and i even heard of a pistol whipping recently) -- although i must say that i am not aware of these things in my area. i think there are too many college students that stay here, so if you are looking for quiet and peace you sometimes may have a fight to find it. yes, the gates do seem to stay broken, which does not make you feel as safe as you thought living in a gated community would be. maintenance seems to do ok in my opinion -- and lawn is kept ok also from what i see. but i would not recommend moving over here.
