The walls had only been painted in patches. The following day, I brought this to the attention of maintenance but they found it humorous. Initially, I requested that the entire apartment be painted also it was writing on the wall, mostly in the bedroom. They refused and only painted the spots in the worse condition. I noticed mold in my restroom and requested that this be fixed, but no action was taken. In addition to the array of problems, I discovered two pieces of wood painted white in the bottom of my cabinets. This was unacceptable. I requested maintenance fix this problem as well as the other problems, but nothing was done.
The following problems existed and were brought to the attention of maintenance and the management staff in verbal and written form:
1. Window were leaking in the study
2. Window were cracked in the living room and covered in paint
3. Water got cold very fast
4. The blinds we cut and broken.
5. Tub covered in rust, and other unknown particles.
6. Hole in kitchen wall and the refrigerator had rust on the inside and was dirty upon moving in.
7. The door to the water heater wouldn t close
8. Broken hall way door.
9. Kitchen had broken cabinets that wouldn t close and different unknown stains
10. Wood shelf missing in closet
11. Toilet would run, had to hold down to a long period of time to flush
12. Stains on ceiling in study.
13. Bathroom sink was dirty and covered in stains
14. Tile in bathroom filthy, covered in rust.
15. Chipped paint
16. Hot water takes a long time to come on had to let it run and only last about five minutes
17. Outside the apartment drains do not come all the way to the ground
18. Some electrical outlets are not covered outside
19. Outside lights constantly are out of order
Days came and went. Nothing was reconciled after weeks of numerous complaints. Some of the minor issues were fixed, but was fixed poorly and soon needed to be repaired again. None of the major issues were even attempted to be fixed. For approximately a month, complaints were still being made, and my roommate's mother became involved. The first time maintenance came to our apartment to attempt to fix the closet, we came home to find that they had urinated all over the toilet, and left the seat up. They left urine in the toilet bowl also. They turned all the lights in our apartment on and left them on all day long. They left no notice of even being in our apartment. aLKeoXpj3s4OSgrp1trb

I have lived out at Jackson Square for almost a year and am very happy out here. The new manager seems to really be trying and always seem to be on top of the maintenance issues.
