This place looked nice at first but after a week of living here I see that it was a facade. We have ants, the office staff said spray windex on them but would not do anything to help the situation. They brushed me off with "I'll call you back". The door lining is falling out. The shelf in the closet caved in with all my clothes hanging on it. They did manage to come out and fix that but I told them when I moved in the shelf looked weak. The noise on weekend nights is loud. The security guard got an attitude when we called her out to check on the noise. The staff also walks in on you without knocking first. There is not enough parking.

We have a pest control company that is here every Thursday morning(this is explained at move in and is printed in our monthly newsletter) If someone calls in a complaint after the vendor has been out to treat our community, then we tell them to purchase bug spray and that we will reimburse them on their account for the amount of the bug spray (Some household cleaners such as windex and antibacterial soap will cause ants to lose their trail back to the ant bed and they will die-per pest service). As far as any other service request called in...our service staff handle them in a timely manner. We do not have a security staff. We have a police officer who lives on site that when you move in we explain to you that you must call in noise complaints to our answering service and they will page out our property monitor. If things are not reported while they are occurring then there is not much that our staff or the police department can do about it. Our staff always knocks before entering an apartment. We knock and even announce who we are at the door. If noone answers us back then we use our key to enter. Why would we risk our own safety and just walk in on someone unannounced. Our newsletters also state what days/dates any preventive maintenance will be performed also. This community does not designate parking spaces for our residents either. It is very clear that you are not happy with our community and we are assuming that you will not be renewing your lease. Our staff hopes that the remaining months of your stay here at Olympiad will be a good one and that you will change your opinion of our community.
