These apartments looked so pretty from the pictures in the guide and from the road. It all started going downhill with the move-in. I put my apartment on hold with a leasing agent who is no longer there when I came in from out of town on my apartment hunt. She never notified anyone that I was moving in. I found this out on the day I was scheduled to move in. The leasing agent on duty said they didn't have an aprtment ready for me, but scrambled to get another one ready that afternoon. I was driving from out of town and she then told me if I wasn't there by 2:30 that I wouldn't be able to get my key until Monday. I got there just in time and she rushed me through 50 pages to sign. She took me to my apartment and it was absolutely filthy. Only the walls had been painted and the carpet cleaned. I had to clean all surfaces, the bathrooms, the kitchen, the fans, etc. The leasing agent was embarassed. She said she would have somebody come back and clean it but I never saw anyone. They also never explained to me that I would hyave to pay water. 3 1/2 months later I get a bill from some company saying my account is delinquent, I had never recieved a bill and had no clue what this bill was until I called. The tanning bed that they brag about is ancient and disgusting. I don't think that the bulbs have ever been changed nor has the room it's in ever been cleaned. These apartments were cheaply built and have little closet & storage space. The security gate is always broken, one time they disabled my access card and took me out of the computer as if I didn't live there and it was an hour before I could get inside to go home. All of the management is very rude and let you know that they don't need to be bothered by their residents. The blinds in my apartment were broken when I moved in and the completely fell apart, I reported this to them 2 1/2 months ago, and since have spoken with 3 other property employees about this, they all said it would be taken care of, I am still waiting. Luckily for me my lease is up in 7 days. They had the audacity to tell me that I would be charged if my apartment wasn't clean when I moved out. Looks like I don't have to do much since their idea of cleanliness isn't much. You couldnt pay me enough to renew a lease here.
