Convenient, comfortable and clean: Sturbridge Commons Apartment Homes is truly a wonderful place to live. Ever since I lucked out in finding this community, I have been nothing but happy. The staff is friendly, knowledgeable and professional. They go the extra mile to satisfy clients and tenants alike. They certainly made me feel welcome and right at home from the very start. I cannot imagine living any place other than Sturbridge Commons in Montgomery.

The apartments are modern, large, and spacious. The fireplace in the living room with the high ceilings add the right touch of class. The round tub in the master bath with modern fixtures is a perfect way to end the day. Natural lighting abounds in my apartment. The walls are sound proof and the security is excellent. The grass is always neat and the grounds are clean and trimmed. If you like nature, there is a large pond and tenants are allowed to fish if they choose. There is also a covey of wild ducks swimming in the pond. And seeing wild geese fly overhead on adds a pleasant touch. It is nice to go and sit by the water and contemplate life.

There is the right blend and variety of working professionals, mature and young couples, and families. There are two club houses with high ceilings and fireplaces with large swimming pools. Parking abounds; I even got the attached garaged with automatic door I wanted. Pets are welcome. My cat enjoys looking out the large picture windows, which provides plenty of natural light. There are no surprises or hidden fees. Extra security systems are available if one feels the need in this electronically surveyed area. I have never felt safer.

Shopping centers, cinemas, restaurants and gas stations are plentiful and conveniently located and it is close to the interstate, parks and walking areas. For those with children, good schools are nearby.

I am delighted to call Sturbridge Commons Apartment home!

Lived here?

This is obviously a canned review. I live here and some of the things above are correct, such as good light in apartments, nice walking areas, convenience, fairly spacious apartments. Also, the vast majority of residents (at least living near the office) are nice couples, families, etc. I have seen and heard some college kids near the back of the complex and at the pool after hours being loud during summers. Recent response from management to break ins, assaults and robberies has been unsatisfactory. There is nothing in the way of security at the complex--there may be one or two cameras near the entrance, but they are useless (who knows if they even work) as not one of the assailants or robbers who've plagued the area recently have been caught!!! The rent drop box was even broken into several months ago and to my knowledge that individual got away clean. Also, though maintenance is nice and fairly quick, some larger or more troublesome repeat problems (leaking windows with cracking walls and plaster resulting and water heater that doesn't get water hot during winter) are ignored and others are continually patched (air conditioner goes out several times each summer due to leak, but all they do is re-fill the freon).
