I looked at an 1 bedroom apartment at Turtle Place. It was nice, I liked it and wanted to rent it. I asked about the move in costs. I was told there was no security deposit but an $85 fee for a $500 bond, a $35 application fee and $100 reservation fee. I was told depending upon the results of my credit check they may require an additional "security" deposit. They could not tell me the move in cost until I paid all of the fees and they did a credit check. Needless to say I went elsewhere, where they told me with no problem the move in cost. It seems to be a very nice place but they are more concerned with getting their fees than renting apartments.
