I stayed here for a year. And I couldn't wait to get "out of dodge." Previous writers have pretty much spoken the truth. Main 2 problems: apartment complex is SUPER old (30 yrs ) and staffing. If you're not going to tear the apartment down, then just pick a date to close it down and do a major renovation. as said before, you get what you pay for. These 30 yr old apartments, look and feel like they've been through 30 yrs. Staff- seems like management changed 3 or 4 times while I stayed there. No one responds to requests. To be heard you have to call 10X a day, write letters, stop by on lunch breaks, or threaten to get your lawyer involoved. Maintenance never gets the job done in a timely fashion either. Solution: IF vintage point insists on continuing business, do a walkthrough of each apartment and make a list of the work that needs to be done in each one. And start making some changes. The owners of Vintage point, need to take more time in hiring management. Pay attention to screening, make sure they have training or some background in the field. Hiring incompetent people just makes it worse. To the staff, compile ONE,again ONE, list of complaints, maintenance requests or any other issue. If someone calls with an issue, tell them to hold on, go get your list and write it down. Don't just listen and not document what the tenant has said. WHY'' B/c the staff never remembers anything. If you learn how to be efficient employees, there'll be less complaints to address and more time to work. Also Vintage needs to hire more maintenance. We complain, but they are acutally short-staffed. SO please with all of the money we're paying for rent on a 30 yr old complex, surely some hiring could be done. Those are my overall issues. Don't move in, It's not worth the discounted price. It's not safe, and you'll spend all day on the phone with the staff to get things resolved!!! Oh and get everthing in writing!!!

Wow..you've hit on the head. I lived there for a year last year..and you are sooo right. I'm so happy that I was able to move. The apartment is old, and it needs to be renovated or closed. The staff!Oh my gosh, they never kept a list, and I always had to call 10X, stop by and complain, and basically be a B***H to them to get things done. They need to go to school or some training to learn how to run an effective and efficient business!
