The Huntley

 

I moved into the Huntley approx 6 mo.

ago.

At first, it was wonderful.

Quick response to any and all problems.

These are new apartments so there are still a few quirks to be worked out.

Like I said, at first, quick fix.

..(that was the GOOD).

.

.then, as the apartments are filling up, the parking situation gets worse and worse.

I was the second tenant in my building and had great parking until my building began filling up, now I am lucky if I do not have to park across the parking lot (street).

(that is the BAD) and now for the UGLY/NOISY.

I absolutely LOVED living here until someone was moved in above me.

I swear to you it is ABSOLUTE AGONY.

There is not one moment of peace unless they are gone or sleeping.

I have talked with approx.

15 other tenants and ALL that have upstairs neighbors claim to be MISERABLE.

I have made numerous appeals to the office staff to just come and listen and have been told a contractor will be sent to check it out,nope,hasn't happened.

Take my advise, all that is pretty on the outside is not all that great on the inside.

I will also tell you this.

In the beginning, the office staff was very friendly and compliant but as time goes on, their stories seem to change and unkept appointments and call backs are not made.

The rent here is quite higher here than some other complexes and the convenience of the apartments to the interstate is unbeatable, I am just sad that I was so happy being here and now I don't even like coming home because of the noise.

POOR CONSTRUCTION!!!!! HIGHER RENT THAN MOST AROUND!!! By the way, you will pay the same water bill every month as ALL of the other tenants.

I agree with the noise complaint. Its like elephants live up stairs. Its so bad that if they even get out of bed in the middle of the night it scares me to death! You can hear them go to the bathroom, turn on their dishwasher, wash their clothes. Its ridiculous. I have friends that come over and they are like what in the world are they doing up stairs, Im like oh they're just walking around. It just blows my mind that they could even call this place luxury! They should just call its Pelhams new apartments. And leave it at that.
