I live and work in the Pelham area and have found the Huntley Apartments and staff, namely Susan Vance, to be an asset to the Pelham Community. There are no other rental properties within the city limits of Pelham that offer the amenities or convenience that the Huntley provides.

Yes, you are new to the complex. The convenience is great. Susan is great but you apparently live upstairs and in a fairly empty building with decent parking or you are my upstairs neighbor who takes my "unassigned" but rightfully earned (been here several months) parking place and who doesn't care how much noise you make middle of the night when you come in or simply walk across the floor. The apartments are very poorly constructed. The only reason I stay here is for the convenience. Future tenants need to know the reality of the Huntley.

I feel as though your expectation of apartment living is a bit unrealistic. If you want private covered "rightfully earned" parking, buy a house with a garage. I have lived in many apartments and I was always fully aware that living on the ground floor meant noise from tenants above, how do you not realize that when you move in?

A bit unrealistic? I can understand an occasional bump or door closing but when I can hear my upstairs neighbor vomiting at 2 and 3 in the morning I mean, is that normal apartment living? As far as parking goes, I do plan, at some point, to buy a house with a garage and I thank you for your grown up point of view on that matter. And lastly, I am sure you know who I am because of my previous review. . .I am not a trouble maker nor do I usually go to this extreme to voice my opinion but the truth of the matter is that these apartments are poorly constructed. There is no way, shape, form or fashion to argue that. I know, I live there too, remember. It is only fair that future tenants know so that maybe their expectations are not as high as mine were for The Huntley.
