I lived here with my (now) ex-husband, during my pregnancy. We had a 3 bedroom apartment on the bottom floor, and I LOVED the closet space, the amount of kitchen cabinets, and the LAYOUT!!! The neighbors were military, which they were great too, and well minded kids! Moving in was hassel free, except when it came to appliances, or heavy furniture, due to the steps.
Ok... so here are my quirks... the person who lived there before us knocked a hole in the wall behind the master bedroom door, so when it was bumped, and fell through, we were blamed for it lol... Also, at the time, there were a LOT of vehicle break-ins, which was at no fault to the apartment complex. Once all the reports started coming through, they had police patrol the area. The complex live-in police officer was also very courteous & nice!
There were some kids that would run rampid around the apartment buildings EARLY in the mornings, but I think that only irritated me being pregnant & not feeling well, wanting to sleep! LOL They would get in our breezeway and yell, which would cause a major echo... but that isn't the fault of the apartment, just unattending parents!
The people above us would bounce a ball on their kitchen floor which would drive me banannas, but upon complaint, it stopped as well!
We did have someone cut one of the screens on one of the bedroom windows, apparently trying to break in. All they asked of us was to file a report, and they immediately had the screen fixed! Getting out of the complex, taking a left turn is kinda painful though, depending on the time of day, as the sight distance around the curve speedy drivers makes it difficult... your better off taking a right turn everytime... which was actually the fastest access to JR Allen Parkway... or you learn to quickly pull out into traffic on a whim lol.
Overall, I absolutely LOVED & ADORED this place! I would love to live there again someday! There was so much space, storage, and the rooms were larger than most, especially the master bedroom, closet, and BATHROOM!!!! Uhhh... it was wonderful!
