When we first moved in, the apartment was dirty. There were crumbs on the kitchen floor, urine on the toilet, and pieces of glass on our carpet. I understand that when we moved it, they had just fixed this apartment from the tornado. But how did the 5 or 6 pieces of glass get ON TOP OF our new carpet' We have lived in 9 other apartments prior to this one and this one has the worst dishwasher we've ever had. Maintenance has come to look at it, but it still does not work properly. This is a gated community and our rent reflects this fact. However, the gates don't work half the time and have been broken for the past two weeks. It took a good 2 - 3 months to get our patio screened in, there is always trash lying around the kids' playground and dog poop is all over the property. Now, there is a new trash system. We HAVE to pay an extra $20 a month to have someone come and get our trash from our front door and move it 50 yards to the dumpster. They gave us a trash can, but every time we've put our trash out so far, no one picks it up. So at this point, we're paying $20/month for a trash can. We are not allowed to cancel this service either. We have been nothing but disappointed with this place.
