If you are considering living at Troy Place, DON?T! My air filter hasn?t been changed in 6 months (I finally had to go down to the office and get one and change it myself!). Oh, and for some reason, in every apartment that I have been in, the front door doesn?t shut good and you can see sunlight from under and over the door. (You can actually put your finger under my front door and touch the cement outside!!!) I asked them to come fix it, and they said they did, but now (2 days later) it is back to the way it was before! This is an open invitation for rodents and pests to come live with you! Speaking of, at least 4 times a week I find a decent-sized spider in my shower, and my pantry has been invaded by ants about 8 times since I have lived here! They are even in my car!! There is mold ALL OVER the baseboards throughout my apartment, and I have tried everything to get it off. AND, when they "clean" the breezeways with the pressure washer, they spray your rug and right up at your door. My rug had been sprayed down the stairs and none of the Troy Place guys even bothered to pick it up and put it back infront of my door. There was also MUD, DIRT, AND GLASS at the entrance of my apartment when Troy Place finished with my breezeway since all the doors have about an inch of space from the floor to the bottom of the door. To top it all off.....each one of us pays like $270 a month to live here. IF THERE ARE 4 PEOPLE PER APARTMENT, THAT IS ABOUT $1,000 PER APARTMENT PER MONTH - Yet, they can?t change my air filter, nor can they OBVIOUSLY afford a decent property manager. The one now is about my age and hits on every female that walks in the office -if you want the things done that SHOULD BE done at your apartment without you asking, I guess you have to hook up with the property manager or something - GROSS!!! BEWARE OF TROY PLACE - I WOULD RATHER LIVE IN A DORM OR AT HOME!
