I live at Troy Place right now ( 9/20/2002 ) and I would love to find someone to take over my lease. I am an adult student (beginning school after Christmas) and asked the manager many times before I moved in, if there would be any problems with me being a resident. Most of the people here are half my age, after all! I was told REPEATEDLY that finding roommates for me would not be a problem.
Well, the reality of it is that I'm living in a 4 bedroom unit, pretty much by myself. No effort has been made to show the vacant units. Like the earlier commenter said, the place is infested with ants, and the common areas are full of cigarette butts and beer cans/bottles. I honestly believe that my one roommate has health problems, which keeps me from being able to use the refrigerator / kitchen / living room. All my things are jam packed into this one small bedroom.
I moved here hoping to have roommates and to enjoy going back to College...but so far it's been a disappointment.
I wish I'd stayed at my old ghetto apartment. At least it didn't have bug problems, and I had the use of the kitchen / living / dining area.
