Troy Place is full of false advertisement first the internet is far from high speed, second the carpet hasnt been clean probably since it was put down, third they will continusly send anynomous bills like i was told to pay a $25 one time only utility fee which was not mentioned in the lease. My roommates and I were hardly ever home to meet the minimum of our utility amout we recieved an overage of like $50.00 a piece and when questioned about it they couldnt present any evidence but still wanted to recieve a payment. They do send notices about monthly inspections but when they approach the apartment they knock once then enter and only shake the door knob before entering your room. I dont understand why they do inspections when something is reported it takes months to get fixed. The pool is nice and the fitting room isnt big at all and the equiptment is in poor condition. They do have a game room but its nothing special and they give you a hard time about playing the wii game. Also I was convience to renew my lease in order to get new furniture, the rent was renew but still no furniture. The most important thing is if you do decide to move here make sure you know your roommates I was placed with 3 others and we were all from different walks of life they were pretty nice but very nasty and didnt like to clean. They all moved out bacause of their dislikes of troy place and their staff. second semester my apartment was drug busted because of my new roommate i asked to be moved because i was afraid of drugys coming back they only changed the front door lock and then they moved in 3 others and 2 adults in their 30's with 2 young teenagers which is the worst of course teenagers stay up late have company and from time to time get a bit loud the adults were such party poopers and made me uncomfortable in my own home! the people in the office have bad attitudes and Charles comes off as racist. Every one that lives here is NOT a college student. I am moving out in August and never returing Troy place should be call the projects cause its very ghetto and securtiy sucks. if u have company often u can forget it here there arent enough vistors parking and the boot man doesnt take any excuses
