Canterbury is fairly clean (monthly pest control) and fairly quiet (a fair number of graduate and/or foreign-exchange students). The cinder block walls get claustrophobic at times and make it difficult to decorate well (try driving nails into cement...). The kitchen is small, with little counter space, and no dishwasher or disposal.
VERY LITTLE SUNLIGHT! This factor really wears on one the longer the stay is (say, after 1 1/2 years).
The center courtyard is beautiful and well-kept, but the cinder block and brick work is an eyesore (at least after 2 years).
There are two toilets/restrooms that are connected by a common shower (hence the 2 bathrooms...)
Sealy, in my experience, has been responsive to maintenance calls--we had a fridge burn out and a new one came within 2 or 3 days. The management is also friendly and helpful.
The laundry facility is over-priced.
Price is a bit much for what you get--and looks to continue to increase.
