I have lived at Canterbury Apartments for almost two years now, and I have many positive things to say about my time here. The apartments are spacious, in a perfect location, and extremely safe. I have never experienced a lack of hot water, which is really saying something since both my husband and I tend to take longer showers. The pool is an awesome bonus and the courtyard has grills for residents to use. The complex is close to everything you need here; the past two New Years' we walked to downtown. Publix grocery store is a 2-minute car ride or 15-minute walk. Parking can get sticky during football games, but that's to be expected living 4 blocks from the stadium. I think that the people on here who insult the manager are dissatisfied with their choice of apartments and take that anger out on Azia. I knew when I rented the apartment that this wasn't a $250,000 condo. I feel like I am getting more than my money's worth here, with the pool and location being two reasons why. As far as the manager not being available, I can vouch that this has not been the case in my experience. I remember one instance where I was locked out of my apartment and had to walk to the laundromat down the street to use the phone. Azia didn't pick up the phone, but she didn't have to--she heard my message and maintenance was there to let me in within 15 minutes. Not answering the phone does not mean neglecting one's residents. I read a lot of negative comments on here, and I wanted to put my two cents in, as I would never have lived here for so long if I weren't satisfied.
