I have lived in 3 different apartment/condo complexes---the management is the worst here. Basically run by college kids, nothing is ever their fault or their problem. They are often rude and inconsiderate on the phone. I moved here because of the security (gate is broken most of the time), and because of the location convenience.
The location convenience and the new interiors of the units are the only positive about this place. There is no storage ( NO pantry, NO linen closet, NO outside storage). Because of the ceiling height,you need a ladder (no storage)to change the lightbulbs, but the management charges $50/hr to change them. WOW, I would love to be a maintenance man for that price. My neighbors are VERY NOISY (parties, music,etc.)I have no cell phone service inside my apartment.
My smoke alarm was beeping (loud and constant) one day because of something that maintenance had done to it. When I called and reported it to the mgt,they claimed the maintenance men had already left the property and would be by to fix it the next day!!!
The parking permits are not enforced and there is sometimes no parking available.
Once, one of the college students who worked in the office unlocked my door and attempted to come into my apt. without notice,randomly to "show it" to a potential resident.
