I have mixed feelings about Country Club so I will give you the pros and cons that I have encountered while being a resident at Country Club.
Pros
-very spacious, you have your own entry
-townhouse, so it is very similar to a house
-you have a back patio which is pretty big considering most apartments don't have 1 at all
-cable hook-ups in bedrooms and living room
-also telephone hook-ups in bedrooms, living room, and kitchen
-kitchen is pretty spacious for an apartment
-1/2 bath downstairs
-bathroom upstairs is spacious
-closet space is average
-beige carpet matches most decor
-bedrooms are semi-spacious

Cons
-apartments are out of date
-washer and dryer hook-up are upstairs
-white walls you cannot paint!
-really hard to heat/cool (during the winter the upstairs is like a sauna, and the downstairs is like a freezer-during the warm months it is opposite)
-my shower only has hot water for 10 minutes-not great for back-to-back showers (it has been worked on twice)
-floor creaks a lot
-paper thin walls (I can hear my neighbor having sex next door)
-the countertops in the kitchen are painted, and it chips easily
-the appliances are semi-old
-neighbors complain a lot
-if you have a pet you have to take them to the outer perimeters to use the bathroom-but everyone doesn't do this
-hard to find parking sometimes, and not all apartments have parking in front of their door

Overall, it is an okay place to live, but if you look, you can find better. I think they are not worth 610.00 a month because they a older apartments. I have never felt unsafe here though. They offer a pool which is okay (there's better). Also there is a little fitness center, a place to wash cars, and laundry center. The office staff is okay, and the maintance guys are very friendly. Also they offer monthly pest control and the have dumpsters for your trash. Also, the model they show is a lot nicer than the actual apartments! Try to see the actual apartment you will live in! I agree. Place is ok but not worth the rent they charge. They are not even that close to campus, unless you are a Shelton State student. I'd give a 2/5 as well.
