High River is one of the few apartment complexes in Tuscaloosa that is truly pet friendly. Most apartments in this city are run by Sealy management, which has a very restrictive policy of one pet per apartment 20 lbs. or less only. However, High River lets you have big dogs (and most residents have large labs, retrievers, setters, etc.) and more than one pet per apartment. I have two cats and a 65# lab. So far, no problems except designated walking areas.
