The apartment complex was a nice place to live until resently. I am finishing school in a semester so I asked to sign a seven month lease until I find out where I'll be employed. When I signed the lease I was told that nothing was changing, rent wise, so I didn't bother to fully read the lease. I know, my fault for being trusting, never again. They have started charging me the month-to-month rate, which is $50 dollars more, and the new management says there is nothing they can do about it. Inaddition, my dog died a month and a half after signing the lease and they are still going to force me to pay the monthly pet fee, I guess in case the spirit of my dog hasn't moved on.
