I have lived in this community for almost two years, and have to say that the current management team is a disappointment. When they took over, we were notified that the entire property would be pressure washed...it never happened. The grounds are not as pretty because the sprinklers are not being used. The grounds are maintained, but for this price, I expect more. The manager, who I think is based in GA, is a very pushy, rude woman. Apparently my lease needed to be renewed, although I had continued to pay my rent on a month-to-month basis...When I signed a new lease (I really was unaware of the situation since I had just paid my rent every month), I was not fully notified of what my options were. I was pressured into signing a new year long lease NOW or would have to move. Not very customer oriented, but I suppose it did get one more apartment rented which was probably the goal.
Also, the supervision at the pool is horrible. I realize there is not life guard, but one weekend (Sun. afternoon) I called the office because of the noise, alcohol and glass present around the pool. The office staff did not respond for almost an hour.
The maintenance staff is excellent. Thank goodness for them.
I also have noticied that the professional, family atmosphere has been lost and the community has a lot of younger, more urban-type residents. They drive their cars fast and have loud music blaring. I do not feel comfortable walking around the community after dark anymore. I plan to move.
