I've lived at POV for 2 years now. Honestly, I'm not sure why I stayed for a 2nd year. The staff is rude and doesn't care at all of the quality of service to their tenants. I suppose that's because a majority are students, but that shouldn't matter. They never fixed the problems in my apartment that I reported on day 1. The noise is horrible - I had to call the police numerous times, as there is no security guard on premisis. There are many parties here - one being so loud and obnoxious that the police came by several times. To top that off, my friend's car was hit by a drunk driver. At the end of the year, they are making us move out a week earlier than we should be expected - and since I am moving out of state, I have nowhere to go. We asked nicely for help and they flat out denied it, saying they treated their returning tenants nicely. Well they certainly didn't treat me well when I was a tenant - returning or not. In short, POV is a hole. I wouldn't live here again, even if I was staying in Tuscaloosa.
