I have lived in many apartment settings as well as owning my own home. Morgan Manor has been the best place that I have lived in Birmingham. The atmosphere is quiet and reserved which is excellent for young business renters, medical students/residents from UAB or older individuals that want a beautiful setting to live without all the work. The grounds are exceptional and there is a creek that the upstairs residents can see from their verandas. The owner, Robin Morgan, is very involved in the community and is on site practically everyday. Anytime that there has been a problem, I have been able to reach maintenance and was attended to with respect and very timely. Being an upstairs renter, I have a great amount of privacy and have no problems "sleeping in" when I want. Noise from other renters are not problematic, which was a relief since I had experienced that in other apartments.
The value of the rent plus the location and the amenities that are available to you in this area is what makes this place unbelievable! You are minutes from all the major popular areas in the Birmingham/Shelby County area. My commute to UAB is minimal compared to other apartments in which I have lived. I am also able to have my small dog here.
I can't say enough about the positive aspects of Morgan Manor--it's more of a community than an apartment complex!
