Wow...

What a let down! First off, it is very difficult to find convient parking due to all the trailors, boats and broken down vehicles that hog all the good spots.

Also filling the spaces nearest the buildings are the piles of brick and other building materials that have been abandoned.

Secondly, the entire complex is littered with dog droppings.

This might sound petty, but imagine your reaction to stepping in a fresh dropping outside your stairwell on your way to work.

It sucks! Next up is the "Courtsey Officer".

He is a short, bald man suffering from an advanced case of Napoleon Disorder.

He is far from professional as he patrols the complex sporting tattoos and nipple rings.

I have strong reason to believe that he more than dislikes military folks.

For example, a friend and I were at the pool throwing a rubber football, having fun and enjoying our day off from work.

Well, the courtsey officer happened to be on the otherside of the pool and he felt like making his presence known.

He told us we werent allowed to throw a football back and forth because doing so might provoke a fight.

Not understanding what he was talking about or why he was yelling, I asked what the problem was.

He responded by calling me a "smartass" and to "get the f@#k out of the pool".

I left the pool because this bully proceeded to increase the intensity of the situation by sticking his finger in my face and cursing.

Mind you, all this happened in front of several other residents including children.

The management has not yet responded with their course of action.

This place has alot of potential, but falls short in many areas.

I absolutely would not recommend living here, especially if you are a member of the military.

In regards to this about Village Square apts is a VERY nice place to live. I have been here 3 years and as far as this situation regarding the pool, I was out there at this time and I witnessed the whole thing and you military guys were throwing a ball rough housing in the pool and almost hitting small children and you bringing your ice chest filled with beer is what he told you that was not allowed at the pool due to this was a family oriented complex. The courtesy officer is a Police Officer in Cabot and is well known and very well liked. You just have a disagreement with him cause you didn't follow the rules.
