Our biggest problem while living at Village Square wasn't so much the apartment itself(a $575 a month place isn't going to be spectacular by any means) but the other tenants.
Talk about folks who just don't care! The ones who smoke throw cigarette butts everywhere.
The ones with dogs don't clean up after them and allow them to go any where--even at your(not theirs of course!)back doorstep.
Parents allow their kids to play unattended in the middle of the parking lot and at the swimming pool (which we only used twice and decided we'd rather pay to go to Jacksonville or the Airbase).
Other things we noticed was the horrible upkeep of the landscaping (grass/plants allowed to die within weeks of being put in) and the slow rate of construction.
When we left, there were still piles of bricks, replacement steps and dead sod.
If you need a place to stay for a short time and have a high tolerance for bad neighbors,Village Square would be ok.
Don't recommend for long-term housing.

I wish I had read this review before I moved in. It is awful here and now I have to pay someone to move me somewhere else. It will get worse and worse because no one decent will stay here.
