I have rented here for two and a half years. I have never been late paying my rent and I've even been earlymost months. Now that I have turned in my thirty day notice (with my final rent check), they have "lost" my final rent check and have decided to charge me a late fee in addition to the original rent. It wasn't all that great here to begin with and I (frankly) never expected to get my security deposit back anyway, but this is a little over the top in piracy, in my opinion.
