Pricey but Loved It

Well for the most part I loved it. I've lived in these apartments for about two years now. I had been in one apartment but couldn't stand the noise the people above me were making so I asked to move. Within 2 days I was moved into a new apartment. The management staff is friendly and they are quick to help as is the maintenance crew. The complex is quiet for the most part. If someone complains of a noise, either the cops will come out if they call or the management will threaten to throw them out. Bug control comes every Monday and the grounds are kept mowed and clean every week. Only 2 trash canisters though and sometimes those are locked. There is a cop who patrols every once in awhile so that is comforting. Its not just college kids who live here but as far as I can tell there are no babies around. There are garages-detached and attached. The door to mine that connects to a hallway wouldn't latch properly so I always had a stray cat coming in and sleeping on top of my car. I told management and within a few days they had a new door going into that hallway so a cat couldn't even get into the hallway. The stairs are kind of steep and two people can just barely get by each other. None of the residents wanted to ever help me when I had stuff to carry up to the third floor. So that is a con. You can have pets but they can't be over 35lbs (I believe that is right) and there are some dogs that are not allowed period (like german sheppards because they can be aggressive). There are washers/dryers in the units thankfully. I would recommend living here and I'm sad that I had to leave that very spacious apartment.
