I've lived in many apartments; two in Tempe, one in Portland, and another two in California and, like many apartments they've had their fair share of problems; which have all been taken care of in a fast, professional style. THIS apartment however (located on the corner of School and Meadow in Fayetteville: two blocks from Dickson) has been what I can only describe as a total nightmare. When I first moved in (October)with my girlfriend we were excited to have a place of our own, but when we were told we could move in October the first we found the apartment unfinished; no toilet was found, the sinks (kitchen and bathroom) were not connected, debris from drywall and newly installed floorboards riddled every inch of the place. And since then we've had "repairmen" in our apartment at least twice (at least) a month since. Just a little list of what has gone wrong; a leak in the ceiling of the kitchen (which took MONTHS for them to repair, due to "quick fixes" which proved useless), black mold in the bedroom, bathroom, kitchen and living room, NO smoke detectors were to be found, and when we asked the manager (Chris) he said he would install them promptly (two months later), not only that, there are rats. The management not only lacks common courtesy, but sense. The manager prior to Chris was fired for gross neglect and when we were told we had a new manager we were thrilled: but he has proved to be just as bad, if not worse. All in all I would NEVER recommend anyone to rent this apartment nor any other apartment affiliated with these people. Its obvious that they have no regard for tenants: just money.

I rent from Jordan Properties and have nothing but good things to say. I've lived in Sycamore and Leverett Gardens. I've never had a problem that wasn't addressed immediately- usually the same day. Chris is always been very helpful and the maintenance staff is awesome. I've rented a lot of places and I must say Jordan Rentals in the best when it comes to taking care of the property and their tenants.
