If you are of the opinion that apartment complex managers should give great customer service THEN DO NOT MOVE IN SOUTHERN VIEW! The managers act like they do not want your money so do not give it to them. I had a leaky window seal and when I put in a maintenance report, first they thought I did something to the window to make it leak because "windows just don't start leaking on there own" HA that is what they told me, then it took about two weeks for the maintenance man to show up. By then a fungis had already started to grow around the window. Also if you think you will be rewarded for keeping your apartment clean during your stay and clean up really well when you move out you are wrong. As soon as you put down a security deposit consider it gone. Being my first apartment I went as far as lining all the stovetops and the bottom of the oven with aluminum foil to keep it clean, but not even that gave me a penny of my security deposit back. The appliances are of very low quality. First everything had to be cooked on a lower temp. than usual because if not it would burn it to a crisp, then my ice machine in the freezer only worked part of the time. Not much privacy! I lived in a two bedroom with a roommate and we could hear each other through the walls like they were not even there. Many times I could hear whole cell phone conversations loud and clear the walls were paper thin and hardly insulated. All in all I would say Southern View is at most just considered "a place to stay." It isnt a great place to stay and their is worse out there but unless it is fine with you to shell out the money and only have a place to sleep instead of a nice apartment then I would not reccomend staying in Southern View.
