I would allow a stranger to live with me over letting them choose to live here. The staff becomes completely different people the minute you hand over your deposit and sign the lease. They have loads of rules that they hand you, but do not tell you about before the lease. You have to park your car facing a certain direction; your window curtains have to be white on the back that faces the street; you cant run your dishwasher, washer, or dryer after ten pm-which may seem like a good thing since this OBVIOUSLY states there have been complaints before, but what about people taking night classes or working night shifts' they pay to live there as well. If you decide to visit, take a look first at how nicely the apartments are painted on the main drag-near the pool and clubhouse, and then drive down some of the side roads and look at the peeling paint and messed up roofing. Its only on the "main attraction" that things are nice. Voices come through the walls very easily which is certainly a part of apartment life but when you have to constantly call the night manager (who usually has to ask his "supervisor" before taking the next step, which everyone should know is his wife), there is a problem. I have never dealt with such rude people before. I was honestly shocked. They will promise you the world when talking with them before hand, but it goes out the window as soon as the lease is signed, so if you MUST live here, get important things in writing.

My bedroom curtains are red and my living room curtains are tan. I'm pretty sure the rule is for the window blinds/ shades, because thats what people see from the street... Which shouldnt be a problem since they are provided. I dont see how they can say a word about your curtains if they cant see them... And nobody has said anything about my red or tan ones either. But yeah, All of my neighbors are loud & sounds carry.... But 1 of my neighbors runs his dishwasher at 11 & 12 at night and its pretty frustrating to me... I'm glad of that rule.
