When I moved to Little Rock, it was rushed and I only had a few days to find a place to live. This place looked decent enough at the time - the floor plan was huge and the price was fair. If only I had dug a little deeper. Unfortunately, I didn't find out until after I moved in that this was NOT a bargain at all. Loud music at all hours, people drinking and smoking weed in the open, unsupervised children causing damage to vehicles, constant disputes requiring police attention and horrible bug infestations are just a few of the reasons NOT to move to these apartments. Lease policies are NOT enforced, as nothing was ever done about people having gross amounts of trash on their balconies, alumninum foil on their windows, or leaving trash outside their door. Nothing ever gets fixed in a timely manner. I had a single tile lose in my shower wall and by the time maintenance came (several threatening phone calls later), the tiles were all falling off the wall and the entire drywall had to be replaced. The vent in the hallway was constantly leaking and the toilets were always backed up. One time maintenance came to fix the backed up sewage system and tracked excement all through my apartment (all over the bathroom floor, the tub and even on the carpet). When I approached the office, they told me that I was responsible for cleaning it! That was when I decided not to renew my lease. I eventually moved out 3 weeks before I had to be out when there was a gun fight right outside my bedroom window at 2 a.m. With the exception of one employee, the office staff was very short tempered, uneducated and absent often. The only good thing I can truly say about my experience here is that my complete deposit was refunded in full.
