...of even considering this place. My boyfriend and I visited Beacon Hill and viewed the "model" apartment this past weekend while apartment hunting. My first clue was while driving in: there were several colorful vehicles and residents (I assume), including one car that was painted with fleur-de-lis all on the sides. Another clue was walking into the manager's office, and seeing one of the chairs was missing its roller ball foot. Had to sit in it very carefully and not move if I didn't want to get pitched out.

It's also not a good sign when you walk in and the model apartment, the apartment that is supposed to appeal to potential renters, reeks of cigarette smoke. The appliances were outdated, the apartment itself was cramped and dingy, and even the furnishings (which I know shouldn't matter) were tacky. There was a huge brown recluse next to a dead spider in the bath tub which, according to the other reviews, is to be expected from most of the apartments there.

The woman who showed the apartment was friendly, but not very informative and didn't really appear to know what she was doing.

As I never actually lived in these apartments, I can't give an accurate review of what it's like to live there, but I'm sharing my first impressions. I would NEVER consider this place. LR has many more options - that seem safer, cleaner, and less bug-infested.
