I had to get used to the noise, but it is downtown and you will find noise at night on the weekends but it cuts off before midnight. All in all it is VERY safe. I feel safer here than at my old apartment on Cantrell in the Hillcrest/heights area. The new management is nice (circa Nov 03) but I think the apartment changes hands so many times that it cant be reliable to predict they will stay. Everything is walking distance but parking costs a minimum $25 a month for the parking lot outside (not guaranteed parking) and more for the underground parking which has a waiting list. All in all I give it 9 out of 10 on an "everything" scale.
