I have lived in 3 different lofts at Block 2. I have loved each one of them. Yes, you do hear fire trucks rolling up at 3 AM, yes you do hear police cars at midnight, yes they pick the trash up at 7 Am, and yes there are homless people in downtown. Guess what, thats how it works, you live in downtown, you put up with it. If you want to live in a quite suburb, move to chenal or benton, and then you will get your peace and quite. I just learned of this site, and some of the comments are outragous. The current management is the BEST this property has ever had. I have lived through 8 different managers, and though the current one is young and impulsive, at least he doesn't accept cash for parking or rent and then you get an eviction notice. I plan to stay here for a while. The property has been dirty for the past few weeks, and electric bill has been a little high, but guess what, its summer in arkansas, and over 100 outside. Either you love it or you dont. I wish the people who tear the place up and vandalize things, would move on. Things are definitly better, and are on the way up. There is plenty of parking, with the underground, surface, parking garage and street you should not have a problem, though again since living in downtown, you will have to pay.
