So, current status is: No secured entry way as advertised, homeless people sleeping in hallways and under stairwells, Broken overhead doors in garage area, Trash piled up everywhere, roach infested due to the trash pile up. The simple fact is that these people that come to the property to repair things that are broken are not being paid, so after 3 times of an overhead door company not getting paid, they refuse to repair anything else. Common restroom facilities on the first floor are used by the homeless and have holes punched in the walls as well as graffiti. The repair of a broken urinal consisted of placing a trash bag over it...The males overlooked that and continued to urinate and defecate on the garbage bag. There was human feces on the walls of the elevators and smeared down the hallway a few months ago. On several occasions, the front doors were inaccessable and could have killed many residents if a fire had taken place. The list goes on and on...The trash compactor wasn't fixed, so they sealed off all of the trash chutes on the floors so you had to bring the garbage to the overflowing heap of a dumpster outside. They are charging residents 50 dollars per bag of trash that is not in the dumpster, even though it is overflowing. I personally watched the irresponsible and very immature manager come out of an elevator with marijuana fumes waifting out of the door. They constantly state that the owners will not provide funding to take care of the problems, but our rent is 1,200.00 a month. I have paid a lot less in past and I have never experienced such a slum. Do not rent from this property, unless you consider condemnable conditions an amenity. Luxury living my ass. I can't wait to get out of this hole. I think about 20 people moved out last month. I digress...
