I went to take a look at this apartment complex on Saturday because it seemed to have all the amenities I was looking for. The grounds were beautiful, the apartment was great (although the second bedroom was *extremely small*), but what ruined it for me was a terrible leasing agent by the name of ------- ------.

First off, we had to sit outside for more than 20 minutes because we assumed the leasing agent was out showing the apartment. Not true, she finally showed up, unlocked the door from the inside, and walked away without saying hello, without opening the door to welcome us in, and without apologizing for keeping us waiting in the 100 degree weather. She was extremely rude when I sat to ask her about the apartment, and when she went to show us the apartment she unlocked the door, walked inside first, allowed us to come in, shut the door behind us, and actually just stood in the dining room area with her arms crossed and didn't say not one word THE ENTIRE TIME. She didn't even move until we had seen the entire apartment and had walked out. Neither did she say a word on the way back to the office even when she gassed the golf cart up the hill and almost knocked my 5 month pregnant best friend off the back of the cart. We got back to the office, I said thank you, she didn't say anything yet again, and we walked out.

I was extremely offended because she had this "holier than thou" attitude that perhaps we were wasting her time and that we couldn't afford the apartment anyway. I make $40,000 a year and believe I can afford $700 rent just fine. If this apartment complex is the type to employ an absolutely dreadful person as this ------- ------, then I would roll over and die before I would give them my money. I would only hope that their other employees: maintenance staff, security, landscapers, etc., would care a little more about their jobs than she did, but I was one person who was not willing to take that chance.
