After a year.. Location is great, the apartment is spare but it's good, comfortable, good features. Appliances are really old, but work well. The office staff are almost ALL lazy, slow, inefficient, reluctant.. but pleasant. They won't take package delivery. Communication with tenants is poor and usually right before a deadline. If you're out for a week.. ouch. They want two months notice but only give you a week, that sort of thing. The maintenance people are GREAT... when the office staff remembers to tell them about it. All in all, it's a good place to live. A better management attitude would make it really fantastic. I've renewed.

Yes, I really do wish UPS and FEDEX could leave packages at a drop off spot in or near the office for pick up after work. I did have that convenience at another complex, nearby. I realize it takes space to accomodate this, but it's a HUGE convenience for us who work and cannot be home to receive the packages. Other than that, I'm a happy camper..

I certainly agree! In my circumstance, I leave for work at 5am and don't get back until late in the afternoon. It can certainly become a headache when attempting to receive packages. I understand the space issue, but I'm sure that if they really wanted to, something could be worked out; especially for the exorbitant rent expense. On a slightly more positive note, maintenance is very good at what they do...when they are actually nofified of a problem. I have contacted the main office regarding a few maintenance issues, and I actually had to personally find a maintenance employee to fix my problems, because work orders were never sent to them from the office. I'm not quite sure how much longer I will be staying at Chenal Lakes... I could certainly be paying a mortgage for the cost I am paying for rent here!
