We moved into HighlandPointe not long after it opened. At first it was wonderful because we were the only people in our building and the pool was all mine. It really did fill up fast, and parking did become a problem. There was an issue was trash initially because there was only one dumpster, but they have added one and it improved some. They have recently made rules that you cannot leave trashbags on your balcony and dog poop must be picked up or there will be a fine. It's true that the walls are VERY sensitive to noise...we thought our upstairs neighbors were playing that Dance Dance Revolution game all through the night. They were weird, though, so it's a possibility. Oh, one more thing...the outside lights on our building were out (it's scary out near the woods at dark), and weren't turned on until at least 3 months of me calling to get it fixed. It is way too expensive for what you get, and that is why we're moving out this month. But if you've got money to waste, it's a decent place to live.
