I just moved in last week. Only problem seems to be the noise level from University & Markham intersection. I would recommend an apartment on the back side of the building, just due to the noise. Don't let first impressions make your decision, there are some younger peole there, its just that the older ones like to sit in the lobby during the day and it gives the impression of an assisted living facility. Overall, this is a great deal financially and a very good central location. Takes me just 12 minutes to get downtown in heavy traffic!

I heard that if you are on the backside in the summer, you hear the sounds from people at the pool. I lived on the front. I never heard anything special from the intersection, but then I heard MANY automobile sounds. Ambulances and firetrucks all the time. Many times at night someone in the building needed an ambulance. It's a weird feeling looking DOWN on fire trucks. Yep, they did catch it on fire at least one time while I was there. We had to evacuate. I sure miss my view and the atmosphere out that window. IF it weren't for the nasty-ness down stairs, I could go back if I were NOT across from the elevator AND I would love to have a balcony. Maybe 10 more square feet in the kitchen. Oh yea, the cheapest apartment at 525.00 per month, there isn't very many of that sized one. Those would be the ones made smaller by the elevator. So there's only 2 on each level so 18 total. So plan on 585.00. But I would want the larger one bedroom anyway. The only diference in the size is you loose some length of the long living/dinning combo. It's like 24-28 feet long(guessing). The smaller one bedrooms are 7-12 feet shorter. It's like loosing the large dinning room area.
