I have lived at Pleasant Ridge for almost two years now. While the apartment is spacious and roomy, the buildings are old and have issues. One issue in particular is plumbing. We have had nothing but problems with the plumbing system in Building 600. Water leaks have caused the cealing paint in one bath room to fall off in chunks. Water drainage has been a major issue with the drainage backing up into the bathtubs because it cannot drain properly. We of course complained about this and they supposedly fixed the trouble by re-doing the plumbing in our building, but that has not fixed the problem. I can hear *every* little step the lady above me takes. She is a very quiet and nice lady, but the floors are so thin that I can literally hear every step. Parking is atrocious. There are not enough spots for residents and their guests. The gates are constantly broken. For an apartment of this price I simply would expect better quality. We will definitely be moving once our lease is up.
