Possibly Hell

I came here from out of state to stay with a friend that lives here. Before they got home I decided to go by the office and see just what they had to offer. I stood downstairs forever before I was ever even acknowledged. After that they asked me a whole bunch of weird questions like they did not even have a clue what they were talking about. Then they showed me the "model" that had light bulbs out and smelled like mildew. At that point I cut it short and left. My friend who sadly lives there showed me their apartment and I could not believe what I saw. Black mold all behind the water heater right next to the air conditioner. So as you can guess it was blowing these spores everywhere. Funny thing is I came here because they have been very sick with respiratory infections. I think I'm going to ask the doctors if the black mold has anything to do with it. We have not stayed there another night since and now my friend is finally starting to feel better. I don't know much about molds but I do know that the black one is the worst. Looking at other reviews I see that many others have encountered the same problems. It must be a property problem. Why doesn't the management do something to change this. I guess they just don't care. So I am going to say that this is possibly hell.

Oh come on. I've been looking for all of this time and I finally find an apartment that I like, and a few weeks before I move in I find this site. The sad thing is that every single review has the same thing in it. Is this a case by case bases, or can I pretty much expect the same thing when I move in? How many people did you know personally with the same issues? Does everything about these apartments suck? Damn this is disappointing; I was wondering why the lady was giving me such a good deal. If I go into the apartment and inspect it myself and look for mold, turn on the air, etc, should I be fine? I would greatly appreciate if someone could answer these questions. I mean these apartments have the high ceilings, fireplace, etc. Also if I move in I will only say on the top second floor.
