Manager is MEAN!!!!!

My biggest problem with Summit House was the Apartment Manager Chris. He often times went out of his way to make the residents miserable. While the remainder of the staff was professional and plesant, Chris' main greeting to anyone who walked into the office was "Oh, God. What do you want'"
The units were nice. I had a large Studio. It was 600 sq. ft, for $654, all utilities paid. The kitchen was nice, included a stove, frige, and dishwasher with WAY more than enough cabinetry and counter space. I think that the kitchen was about 100 sq. ft. (plus or minus 5 sq. ft.).
The Bathroom was really small. The bathtub and toliet were in their own part of the bathroom, but you had to step into the tub to shut the door before you could use the toliet. BUT there was nice vanity area, inculding the sink that was outside of the actual bathroom. That area was carpeted, which was a little wierd.
There was LOTS of closet space. I had a "normal" closet to hang all my clothes in, plus what they were calling a linen closet. It was a Walk In!
Aside from that, you have LOTS of neighbors who don't leave you alone. The laundry room was expensive ($3.00 to wash and dry, compared to the standard $1.75 at most other places) and was often dirty. The grounds were never picked up, trash was everywhere!
The building was a secure building, you needed a special key card to get in. Just hope that you don't piss off management! Chris deactivated my card several times and charged me $35 each time to have it reactivated. If this happens to you, go see one of the other memebers of the office staff when Chris isn't there and they will reactivate it for you at no charge.
The pool is kept clean when it is open.... July through September, and expect to have LOTS of people tell you how ugly your swim suit makes you look. (But don't worry, they only have your best interest at heart even thought they have no clue what is and is not appropriate to say out loud!)
So to Sum it all up:
HORRIBLY MEAN MANAGER, Nosy and innappropriate neighbors, poor upkeep, but all ulitities paid.
