I lived here at Turtle Creek two years ago, then moved to Florida w/the same management company. I had a poor experience at Turtle Creek, but figured, new state, new start. The apartments themselves were fine at both locations, except for the squirrles in the attic (Turtle Creek). Management was very poor at both locations when it came to dealing w/any tennant issues. For example, if you ask for something as simple as a receipt for rent payment, they look at you as if you have two heads. You get tired of literally begging for them to come fix something and then they flag you as a tennant b/c you're understandibly angry at their laziness. They hired a company for construction work at Turtle Creek. The company they hired took no safety measures (such as putting caps on steel rebarbs and no caution tape noting their work area), and neither the apartment company, nor the construction company took any responsibiliy when I fell and injured myself as a result of their carelessness... BTW, I had my baby early as a result of my fall and was in physical therapy afterward. The management team was so poor that before we moved out, another disgruntled tenant literally burned down one of the apartment buildings in Florida [Bay Meadows Apartments (Baynews9.com)], while other tenants were living there! They were very nice at Bay Meadows until you quit giving them money (giving your move-out notice). They enforce the rules for some and not for others. Then they treat you like garbage when you give them your move-out notice. They have since "cleaned house" and gotten new management, but as far as I'm concerned, it's too little too late. B/c of my experiences w/the management team, I will happily avoid renting from United Dominion Properties again and will encourage others to do so as well.

I live at the Turtle Creek which is run by Bell Partners. This person must be talking about another complex because it is not run by United Dominion. Also, the management and service here is great, they are friendly, fast, and helpful always! The maintenance is great and will come out day or night. The office staff and management are always friendly and run the complex very well. Bell Partners is an excellent management company and Turtle Creek is very well run because of them.
