This place is the ghetto in a so called nicer part of town. They do not accept HUD or Section 8, but still somehow attracts all the thugs from the southwest part of town. They have changed management several times and the lastest crew is so far the worst. From gunshots to apartment breakins to fights in the parking lots, you name it. They say they have security, but have yet to see them. I think the answering service answers their calls during office hours more than the actual staff there. There is open pot smoking on the balconies and you can buy a sack of marijuana in the back of the complex at any given time. The playground is unsafe so the thug children play outside your front doors and are rude when you ask them to play elsewhere. They leave trash like animals and act as such, and I'm talking about the adults. If you call the cops, you better watch out for your stuff, because you could find your vehicle damaged or yourself targeted for retaliation. If you live on the ground floor, then don't leave any thing outside, as they will steal anything that is not tied down. Maintenance is under staffed, but they will work thier butts off to get things done when they have the time. Valley Crossing is NOT the place to live unless you enjoy living in the hood or ghetto and enjoy the company of those who like this lifestyle.

The management has evicted many of the problem residents and the property is feeling like home. There are now 2 Little Rock Police officers that live on site and a patrol service on the property nightly. The screening criteria has been upgraded to weed out potential problem residents.
