I went here because I heard about a zillion different specials they had so I was excited. Went in and was instantly turned off by the staff, they didn't seem to be genuinely concerned about their residents or potentials. Apartment I saw was ok, needed some better cleaning but I needed a place fast. So I did see something I liked and reluctantly put down the $200.

Well on the way out I past by The Berkley and they had sign outside about a Triple Special. I went in there and the staff sold the deal! Nice black lady in the front answered all my questions, the office was nice and smelt nice, and they offered me snacks! Met the manager as he came and chatted with me too which I thought was really cool. The apartment was really nice, clean, and good price.

So I went back to see if this place (Valley) would give me my $100 back which they said was refundable and they shafted me. Even when I told them I went to a sister property they gave me a really hard time. I don't see how that could happen. But I think these folks should take a lesson from the sister property on customer service

The contract that was signed with the $200 deposit states that once you apply are are Approved the deposit will be posted to your appartment for move-in. The $200 is refundable only if you are Denied.
