I can say as a former employee there that this place has gone down hill. When I worked here it stayed clean and my fellow co workers and i did all we could to keep it nice and work with the residents as much as we could. I aplogize to all of you who I have talked to in the past year that hate that place now. I wish there was something I could do.

I worked here too, once upon a time. I think the reason the current employees are so lax is because of Lindsay Management. When I worked there, my husband and I were on call 24 hours a day. We ALWAYS had to answer the phones. If someone called at 3am to ask how much a one-bedroom cost, we had to answer. We couldn't ever leave the property, not even to go grocery shopping together. And we got paid $5.50 an hour to do this- but only for 40 hours a week. We didn't get paid extra to answer the phone all night, to break up fights, to interrupt our dinner to turn off someone's oven, to tell the kids across the parking lot that the old bat in building 31 "just had head surgery" (even though she said this for months) to keep it down. We didn't get combat pay when the ----- from another building threatened to beat me up, because I gave her an eviction notice since she had 11 people living in her 530 sq ft apartment. (These are all true stories) I'm sorry. It used to be a nice complex, but when you're under pressure to keep occupancy rates up, you have to fill the apartments. They promise you a bonus if you do, and when you're overworked and living on minimum wage, a bonus sounds great. Too bad it never actually happens.
