The Greens is by no means perfect. When I moved in I had a list of things I insisted on being changed before I signed the lease. There are bleach stains on our carpets and the outside of the buildings look horrible.
Before you move into a new apartment they paint all the walls. But don't count on a professional paint job. We found paint on the tubs in the bathrooms. Plus there are a few places where it looks like they painted over the nails in the walls instead of pulling them out. The parking lot is in shambles through the whole community. That can be pretty harsh on your vehicle if your building is not close to the road. But all of the Lindsey Properties are that way. I suspect it's from the large population of Truck drivers who live there and drive their big rigs through the parking lots.
But the community is made up of some pretty nice people. Our neighbors have been friendly and there's a sense of family in our building. Our rent and utilities are pretty cheap compared to living in West Memphis or Memphis so it's worth it to me. And I've never had a problem with the management. They've all been nice and helpful to my roommate and I.
